Not another NAS! – Part 1

I have come to the decision that I am going to retire 3 of my current NAS’es and replace with just 1 “big” NAS. This would require the migration of all the hard drives that are currently located within the oldest NAS that I have (a Buffalo Linkstation Quad Pro) and 2 x HP Microservers (a N40L and a N54L).

I have done my research and have come to the conclusion that the Fractal Design Node 804 is the ideal case for me. It has just been delivered today. Here it is. Fresh from unboxing.

It is a big case indeed. Some say it looks like a printer but I like it 🙂
